Dulla Makabila Dulla Makabila, whose real name is Abdallah Makabila, is a Tanzanian musician and one of the most prominent figures in the Singeli music genre. Hailing from Tandale in Dar es Salaam, he has been instrumental in bringing the raw, energetic sound of Singeli from the streets to a wider audience. He is often referred to as the "King of Singeli." His music is characterized by its fast-paced tempo, repetitive and infectious beats, and humorous or socially conscious lyrics.
