Joh Makini John Simon Mseke, popularly known as Joh Makini, is a Tanzanian hip-hop recording artist and composer. Born on March 27, 1980, in Arusha, he is one of the most celebrated rappers in Tanzania. He is a member of the well-known Tanzanian hip-hop group Weusi, and he is also the founder and CEO of his own record label, Makini Music.
